Exhibited
at Museum of Sydney show, Inside Sydney: Photographs by Max &
Rex Dupain, in 2004. The Manly Surf pavilion, resembling the
shape of a boomerang, was completed in 1938. Considered to be
an exceptional example of functional modernist architecture,
the pavilion won the 1939 Sulman Medal. It has since been demolished.
